Refresh- to restore strength and animation to, to restore or maintain by renewing supply, to run water over or restore water too, to lay in fresh provisions.
This is what we're praying for our family this year, Refreshment, to lay in fresh provisions to have the living water poured in, filled up, and running over of God's promises.
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul.
Praying that this year even more healing will be found in God, day by day, moment by moment, a totally filling up of Him. Remember how He has guided us this past year and taking comfort in that memory and promise, when the moments of confusion arises.
Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
Praying for an easing of our souls, like a deep breath out, a cold beach breeze, or a hot cup a tea. That we feel God's hands guiding our lives this year just like He did last year. That our son's follow our heart and foot steps. That we can be the parents that the boys need us to be. That we show daily the trust in God, the joy in life, and an openness to help others.
Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
