Welcome to December's Just Cause Project!
In December we will be encouraging Bloggers to collect used blankets, and even make new blankets to donate to a local organization of their choice. It's Christmastime and it's so easy to pick up an extra blanket for $5 while you are out shopping. There are so many people who don't have the luxury of a warm home and a soft bed this time of year.
So why not be a part of helping those in need? Organize a Blanket Drive or partner with a local store to offer blankets at a discount to be donated to a local agency working with the Homeless.

Cold winters are particularly hard on those who don't have consistent shelter so I've chosen to take my collections to the local soup kitchen. Many of our area's homeless population rely on the soup kitchen for a warm meal and I hope to collect/make enough blankets to make a difference for those who don't have the benefit of a warm home to sleep in every night.
